Daily Report (English)

Hay guys, on my previous blog I never mentioned about where my college is, so I study in Politeknik Pariwisata Makassar. The campus is located around Tanjung Bunga in Makassar. The campus offer you guys many majors, and it's a coincidence that my major is Food Production Management, but now it's name has been changed became Culinary Art. It's so easy to became one of us in Politeknik Pariwisata Makassar, just open the site about this campus and follow the procedure of registrate.

Well, back to my activity in the kitchen today. Today me and my group mates got off, so we did research about our project. This time we practiced an idea from one of our mate in group, it was Potato Pizza. Nah. the ingredients that we need here so simple, there is potato, egg beated, onion, sosis, leek leaf for garnish and for its seasoning we used salt and pepper. Firstly we blanched the potatoes, but slice them first. Then cut others ingredients according the size that its needed. Saute the onion, then put down the potatoes, salt and pepper for seasoning. After that put down egg beaten as a binder. Then sosis for topping, leek leaf and cheese for garnish. Even though our project didn't get acc from the lecture, but we will try another one next time.



After the Resto was open today, we were whom off today got an instruction to do oneline. In case of dividing of menu we had to prepare, my group got appetizer, it was Jalang Kote. For the preparation, some of us made the dough, and another made its filling. Make Jalang Kote dough is not easy as it seems, today we had to repeatedly made the dough, because the previous dough was failed. Here we used sifted purpose flour, oil that has been heated, and a mixture of water and salt. For the first mixture we mix flour with oil, then water gradually to produce a good dough.
