Daily Report (English)

Today resto started open at 12.30 o'clock in the afternoon, which means all food had to be plating before that. We entered the kitchen as usual, and started one line in the cold kitchen. Mr Jaya then came in to give us an explanation about the product we made today. When it finished, he immediately walked out of the cold kitchen, and not long after that Mr Syahrial came in to check our preparation and immediately let us to take and doing.

For today my group mates and I made Tang Yuan, this kind of food is from China or more known as Chinese Food. This food is known in the Tang Dinasty Era, according to its name Tang Yuan. Basic ingredients from this food is Glutinous Rice Flour, This food is usual made by Chinese People when there was Lantern Festival. Its shape is round small with mixed Black Sesame Seed, sugar and Butter as it filling. For cooking process, we boil them for a few minutes until tender enough.

In case of making Tang Yuang, we gave three different colours, there are green, yellow and red. To get nice looks. Once upon a time, Tang Yuan colour was only white. But people nowadays used many colours for their Tang Yuan. After cooked, we were plating them in a compot bowl, where each plate we gave three Tang Yuan with different colour. Then poured them with simple sirup, we made simple simple syrup from water and sugar. So its colour is clear.
