Today was my second day of practice in Semester 2. This time Chef instructed us to came early. At the 7 o'clock in the morning my friends and I came in the kitchen. Because this week of practice we cooperated with friends of Food and Beverage Management to open Restaurant. Me and my friends as a cook has a duty to prepare products which is ready to serve in the Restaurant. Like usual, before came in the kitchen we called one by one by our names first. But this time we in-charge with different senior, they are from class B of 4th semester.
After put my bag in the locker, I went to cold kitchen room to join my friends to receive referrals from senior. Before we started our activity in the kitchen, we prayed first. While waiting for Chef to come to explain what product were we going to make today, our senior let us to introduced ourselves, of course after they introduced their selves first. Not long after that Chef Syahrial came in and immediately explained about the products that we were going to make. And the products are called Continental Breakfast and American Breakfast.
To both of the products, my group had a Continental Breakfast to prepare. After Chef finished his instruction, we immediately prepare product what we had to make. And for my products that my friends and I made today were Croissant, Danish, Soft roll, Fruit Compote and Muffin. Even though our work today wasn't satisfy but we are going to learn more. Became a good cook isn't easy, but if we want to try and have faith in it, then we can be.
